SomoGear products support a battery voltage range of 2.4V–4.2V. We do not recommend a specific battery brand because we cannot test every battery on the market. Potting is typically done directly into a plastic or metal housing designed to hold a PCB. The process allows the potting compound to be properly dispensed and degassed through pouring, resulting in better protection. PCB potting services help protect electronic assemblies against physical stress, thermal shock, chemical exposure, heat, and humidity.
