The Somogear PERST-4 Visible & IR Tactical Laser Designator is a compact Zenitco-style laser device designed for airsoft, milsim, night vision training, and tactical simulation.

It is available with either a visible laser, combined with an IR laser for NVG-compatible aiming. The visible laser helps with daytime aiming and zeroing, while the IR laser is designed for low-light and night vision training use.

Built with a CNC-machined aluminum housing, waterproof construction, and a premium LEMO plug, the PERST-4 offers solid durability, reliable connection, and better performance in outdoor environments.

The unit is designed to hold recoil on 5.56 platforms, helping maintain zero stability during training. With adjustable windage/elevation and a Picatinny / Weaver quick mount, it is easy to mount, adjust, and use on standard rail systems.

Dual Power Adjustment Control
The PERST-4 allows users to adjust the laser output power directly from the device body or through the built-in adjustment knob on the remote switch, making power control more convenient in different training scenarios.

Important Notes

• When mounting on the rail, do not over-tighten the mounting screw, as excessive torque may affect zero retention.
• To securely fasten the aiming laser mount, we recommend using around 20 in-lbs (≈2.3 Nm) with blue Loctite.
• To securely fasten the switch mount, we recommend using around 4.5 in-lbs (≈0.5 Nm).
• With the ND filter and diffuser installed, output is reduced to approximately 14–15% of normal power.
• Use caution when operating in high-output mode.
• Do not aim the laser directly into eyes or directly at night vision devices.
• Use a new 3V CR123A battery and install it with correct polarity.

To access the programming mode, the mode selector must be turned to the desired pulse rate within 5 seconds of pressing the FIRE button.

1. With the Mode Selector turned to the P (program) position, hold down the FIRE button, orange indicator light up.
